Jason Gilkison is an internationally renowned BAFTA recipient and Carl Alan Award winning Choreographer and Creative Director. He has single handily reinvented Ballroom Dancing for the 21^st Century with his ground breaking and record smashing dance company Burn the Floor on Broadway and London’s West End. Jason also worked on the Tony award nominated show Dame Edna Back with a Vengeance.

Translating his vison to the medium of television Jason became the Creative Director for the BBC’s flag ship show Strictly Come Dancing and was responsible for creating record viewing figures for the show. He is a 6 x BAFTA nominee and took the award home in 2020.

Jason has also worked on The Emmy Award Winning shows So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars in the USA. Jason is a 5 x World Choreography Award nominee.

As a former Ballroom and Latin World Champion himself, Jason still currently holds the record in Australasia for 17 consecutive winning years. Jason has choreographed for artists including Cher, Celine Dion, Robbie Williams, Andrea Bocelli, Kylie Minogue, Take That, Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett.
